Bombus pascuorum

Interesting Facts:
Most people are familiar with bumblebees, but many don't know that they belong to the wild bee group. Common carder bee colonies generally consist of 30-40 individuals, but can reach up to 130. This species has a very long period of activity and can sometimes be observed until November.
