Megachile sculpturalis

Interesting Facts:

The giant resin bee is a species native to Southeast Asia, once present only in China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. It has spread through the transportation of goods and has managed to establish itself in North America since 1994 and in Europe since 2008. To build the walls of the cells it uses resin, mixing it with small pieces of wood and pebbles.
